Perhaps you have heard about the importance of your mindset and the possibility of shifting it.
We leverage mindset shifts when we intentionally change our perspective about something to better serve our goals. Your education is a long series of mind shifts. You are learning new data, applying new concepts, and changing old beliefs. This kind of work should continue throughout your life as all our knowledge is updated.
As an adult I can tell you with certainty that my life, my value, has never been measured by a test. And your value isn’t measured by any test either.
You are fantastic students and you have worked hard to be ready for these tests. You will continue to prepare for all of life’s tests in the future.
Sometimes we don’t do as well as we would like on tests. This doesn’t have to be a big deal. You can use your test corrections as a learning opportunity and ask your teacher how to make it up. Getting back up and continuing forward after setbacks is what drives the most successful people.
Life is a long road. Potholes will happen. Keep moving forward.
“Leaders aren’t born, they are made. And they are made like anything else, through hard work. And that’s the price we all have to pay to achieve that goal or any goal.” -Vince Lombardi
